What happens when you book with Weigh It Right

We’ve broken down the process so you know exactly what to expect, no jargon, no guesswork, just a clear and practical path from start to finish.

We come to you

We offer mobile appointments at a location that suits you. We just need a level, smooth, flat, sealed surface 1.5x the length of your combination – if you have that at home, we can come to you, or we can meet at a location close to you that meets the requirements. Whether it’s your place or a public site, we provide the same detailed service and work with what’s most convenient for you.

Load your vehicles packed for travel

To get the most accurate results, you should pack as if you're heading off on a trip. Full fuel, water tanks, gas bottles, usual gear, and the setup you’d typically travel with. Don’t forget to make sure your tyre and airbag pressures are checked before we meet.

We weigh, assess, adjust, and explain

Appointment typically take 90 minutes. We weigh each part of your setup, check your towing configuration, and make adjustments if needed. You’ll get a clear, easy-to-understand report and we’ll walk you through the results on the spot.

After your appointment, we’re still here to help. Whether you’ve got questions, need advice, or make changes to your setup later, just reach out. We’re always happy to chat and help however we can.

What to expect at your appointment

Your appointment typically takes 90 minutes, and it’s hands-on from the start. We don’t just check your weights, we look at the full picture. From towball load to axle distribution and towing height, we assess how your setup performs and help fine-tune it where possible.

We use high-accuracy mobile weighing equipment to give you accurate and detailed results, and we explain everything in plain English. Our goal is to have you leave with your vehicle legal and your towing setup optimised so your caravan or trailer tows safely down the road.

We work with all sorts of setups, from everyday tourers to specialty vehicles. Whether you’re towing a caravan, loading up a 4WD, or heading off in a motorhome, we’ve got the equipment and know-how to weigh it properly.

Caravans

We weigh your full caravan setup, including towball weight and axle distribution, so you know exactly where you stand.

Standard vehicles

Whether it’s a car, ute, or SUV, we check your weights against compliance limits to help you stay safe and legal.

Tourer 4X4

We assess fully loaded 4WDs with touring gear, rooftop setups, and accessories to ensure you’re not carrying too much.

Motorhome

We measure axle loads and total weight to make sure your motorhome is safe, balanced, and ready to go.

Specialty vehicles

If it’s custom-built or out of the ordinary, we can still weigh it, and help you understand how to manage the load properly.

Horse floats

We weigh the float, vehicle, and overall combination to check weight distribution and make sure you’re towing within limits.

We’re mobile and come to you

We can come to you on a date and time that suits you to weigh your vehicles. We just need a level, flat, sealed, and safe area with enough space either at your home, or we can find a place close to you.
