This is an excellent service. Aaron was very professional and really knew his stuff. The process was simple and Aaron talked us through every metric and aspect of the weigh. His report, provided both in hard copy and online was very thorough. In addition to the weigh in, Aaron inspected and reported on many safety aspects of towing, including chain condition, electric brakes, the efficacy of the safety breakaway and more. I would highly recommend Weigh it Right for peace of mind.

We are new to caravanning and searched online for someone to check our caravan weight. After changing our car earlier in the year, I was keen to have the new combination reviewed and weighed. By chance, I saw that Aaron from Weigh It Right was coming to Noosaville for a day, so took the opportunity to book in. We had recently returned from a trip to Victoria and I’d done quite a bit of testing with the new car prior to setting off with our caravan on that journey. While we had no dramas towing the van and I was confident we were compliant in all measures, I felt that some fine-tuning of our setup was needed, particularly with hitch height and front and rear axle loads. The session with Aaron was excellent. As well as checking all the weights for compliance, Aaron fine-tuned our hitch height and rear suspension ride height (with our recently installed airbags); confirmed that our front / rear axle loads were well within acceptable ratios; showed us how to properly check the Trailsafe breakaway unit; adjusted our safety chains to optimum length; confirmed that our van was balanced well and much more. Even though we had completed the RACQ towing course back in 2022, kept up to date with the Truck Friendly Caravan Safety program and had towed our van over 40000km, I still picked up a few great tips from the session. Aaron provides ample opportunity for discussion and explanation during the weighing process and his friendly approach made for an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend the service Aaron provides. Much more than weighing to get the ticks for compliance.

Top service! Aaron arrived on time, and with a friendly greeting. His expertise in setting up the tests for both car and van was evident from the start. Clear instructions for me, and many helpful hints for weight distribution. He also carried out a couple of tests that I wanted done with no hestitation.
